When I was young, I wanted to be a teacher, because they had lots of holidays.
When I was young we had sweetie night, Dads Friday night treat.
When I was young, I played out till sunset, roam the streets with friends.
When I was young, old people didn’t have as much fun or zest for life.
Now I’m older, being back at school doesn’t seem such a good idea any more.
Now I’m older, I have sweetie night which ever night I want.
Now I’m older, I play out with friend’s way after sunset, even till the sun comes up.
Now I’m older, people still seem old; but I know what to do to not end up like them.
So now I have just as much fun as I did when I was younger. I just never forget that kid inside me, as that’s the secret to eternal youth.
