Response 1: Sir Alex Ferguson

There was a man of purple face
Red of nose, poor of grace
Called the shots, ran the show
Told the media where they could go!
……………………………………………..
In battle his soldiers did mighty deeds
Winged chariots with speedy steeds
Time stood still ‘til they prevailed
If they didn’t to the world he railed!
…………………………………………….
Came South many decades ago
Tasked with felling a mighty foe
Given time his work was done
Rival left basking in setting sun!
……………………………………………..
In good time he was knighted
Made reporters even more the frighted
Few dared cross his path
Fearing a bloody aftermath!
……………………………………………………….
Man in black suffered especially big
To our hero he was a pig
He chastised without mercy
Ne’er spared thought for poor old Percy!
…………………………………………………….

And now it seems he takes his leave
Dreaming Theatre left to grieve
His time passed, his presence gone
Now for others to march on!
